The Board of Commissioners of St. Lucie County may establish a schedule of fees, charges
and expenses, and a collection procedure therefor; for building permits, inspections,
examinations, appeals, applications for variances, special exceptions, rezoning and
other matters pertaining to this act [division] and appropriate resolutions adopted
by the board of county commissioners. Such fees and charges may be appropriated and
expended by the board of county commissioners in the administration of this act [division].
