§ 16-29. Moving violation penalty surcharge.

In addition to any other penalty for violation of the state uniform traffic control law, a surcharge of $12.50 shall be assessed for each moving traffic violation pursuant to F.S. § 318.21(9). This surcharge shall be used to fund the county's participation in an intergovernmental radio communication program as approved by the division of communications of the state department of general services.
