§ 8-2. Governing body.

The county international airport (airport) is owned and operated by the county, and governed by and through the board of county commissioners (BOCC). The authority to grant the occupancy and use or development of airport land or improvements, the right to engage in any commercial activity or aeronautical activity at the airport, and to approve, adopt, amend, or supplement any agreement, policy, or practice relating thereto, including the primary guiding documents, is expressly reserved to the BOCC.
