§ 26-3. County library manager.
Responsibility for operating and managing the county public library systems shall be delegated to a county library manager qualified according to the standards established by the board of county commissioners, and F.S. ch. 257. The county library manager shall have charge of the administration of the public libraries, subject to the review of the county administrator. The county library manager shall be considered a nonvoting, ex officio member of the library advisory board. The library manager will, as necessary, formulate policies and procedures to provide a safe and conducive environment for the public enjoyment and use of the county library facilities.
