 Article V. LIBRARIES IMPACT FEE

  § 24-135. Libraries impact fee districts created.

  • There is hereby established two libraries impact fee districts as shown in Figure 1, and generally described as follows:

    (1)

    Library District A. All of the county, less the following: Begin at the center of the intersection of South 25th Street and West Midway Road (POB); thence easterly to the center of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River; thence southerly along the centerline of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River to the point of intersection with the centerline of the Florida Power and Light power lines originating at the county power plant; easterly along said power lines to the west bank of the Indian River; thence southeasterly along the west bank of the Indian River to the Martin/St. Lucie County line; thence westerly along the Martin/St. Lucie County line to a point of intersection with I-95 and the southwest corner of the City of Port St. Lucie; thence northerly along the west city limit line of the City of Port St. Lucie to the center of the intersection of West Midway Road and Glades Cut-Off Road; thence easterly along the centerline of West Midway Road to the POB.

    Library District B. Begin at the center of the intersection of South 25th Street and West Midway Road (POB); thence easterly to the center of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River; thence southerly along the centerline of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River to the point of intersection with the centerline of the Florida Power and Light power lines originating at the county power plant; easterly along said power lines to the west bank of the Indian River: thence southeasterly along the west bank of the Indian River to the Martin/St. Lucie County line; thence westerly along the Martin/St. Lucie County line to a point of intersection with I-95 and the southwest corner of the City of Port St. Lucie; thence northerly along the west city limit line of the City of Port St. Lucie to the center of the intersection of West Midway Road and Glades Cut-Off Road; thence easterly along the centerline of West Midway Road to the POB.
