§ 20-294. Intent and purpose.

It is the intent and purpose of this article to protect the water resources of the county from the harmful effects of overutilization of groundwater during periods of water shortage and allocated available water supplies by creating its own water shortage plan and by assisting the South Florida Water Management District in the implementation of its water shortage plan.
