§ 16-61. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Chief judge means the chief judge of the state's Nineteenth Judicial District.

County means the incorporated and unincorporated areas of St. Lucie County, Florida.

Defendant means a person charged with a criminal action pursuant to F.S. ch. 893.
